Hunter Wine Country`s winemaking tradition dates back more than 150 years, with Australia`s most famous wineries sprinkled through the hills between Singleton and Cessnock. A mecca for fine food and wine enthusiasts, you can also take a horse-drawn carriage, soar in a hot air balloon or cycle through the beautiful and peaceful countryside. When staying at the Benjamin Singleton Motel you can visit the vineyards/wineries of either Pokolbin (known as wine country), the Broke area or the Upper Hunter region. We are also a handy location for the Day on the Green Concerts of the Hunter Valley. We do not impose mimimum night stays for these weekends. Buses are available for these events.

Singleton is also central to the Mining, Power & Thoroughbred industries of the Hunter Region. Our motel is conveniently located in town and ideal for visitors conducting business with these industries. Singleton Army Barracks are also just outside of town, and our motel is handy for Defense Force personnel and their families.

Singleton is a very busy town for accommodation. We recommend that you pre-book your stay for peace of mind. At the time of booking we are happy to advise on public transport, other faciilities and needs that you may have while in town.

Directions:
From the South via Maitland or Branxton: Go straight at two sets of lightsand then past the two service stations on your left. We are on the right hand side of the road just past Europcar Car Rental, turn right into our dirveway instead of going over the bridge.

From the Putty Rd or Golden Highway: Go straight through two sets of lights and turn right into Elizabeth St. At the t-junction turn left onto the New England Highway (George St). Look for us on the right hand side of the road just past Europcar Car Rental, turn right into our dirveway instead of going over the bridge.

From the North via Muswellbrook: Go straight through two sets of lights and up and over the bridge. We are the first building on your left when you get completely off the bridge (do not take the exit road). Turn left into our driveway immediately off the bridge.
